Puyallup Cheer Academy (PCA) is excited to offer our community classes for individuals eager to learn the fundamental skills of cheerleading, including motions, jumps, kicks, stunts, cheers, and dance. Our classes are intentionally kept small to ensure premium attention and facilitate quick progression. We are a year-round program, continuously accepting new students as long as there is available space.
Puyallup Cheer Academy (PCA) also provides multiple local showcases for students to perform what they have been perfecting in classes. Some of the local performances we are thrilled to participate in include Meeker Days, The Puyallup Fair, The Daffodil Parade, Sunrise Village, South Hill Mall, Puyallup Farmers Market, and more.
Established to support both coaches and athletes, PCA offers a range of resources, including fundraising opportunities for PTAs and schools, educational programs for coaches, building rental usage for local programs, access to outside experts in cheerleading, and comprehensive cheerleading classes.

NEW CHEER classes EVERY 2 MONTHS!
Classes are held once a week, with each class lasting 45 minutes. Your payment secures your spot, as space is limited and pre-registration is required to attend. Due to high demand and sessions selling out, we do not issue refunds.
Our entry-level classes are perfect for every athlete. Participants will learn cheerleading fundamentals, including basic motions, kicks, jumps, cheers, and dance. At the final class of each session, cheerleaders will perform a small showcase to demonstrate their newly acquired skills.
No uniform or special equipment is required. Simply wear PE athletic attire, bring a bottle of water, and come ready to have some fun!
A welcome email will be sent the week prior to the class start with additional details and information.

Tumbling classes
Puyallup Cheer Academy (PCA) offers tumbling classes to the public and current cheerleaders. With multiple levels available, we have a class suited for all skill levels. Payment is required before the first class, and no additional students will be admitted after the second week of the session to ensure the progression of the entire class.
Classes are 50 minutes long, held once a week, and 2-month session. Each class is capped at 15 athletes and often sells out quickly. Register early to ensure your spot.

TUMBLING CLASSES for 2024
Level 1 Mondays 5:00-5:50 pM
Level 1 Beginner Skills working on forward rolls, cartwheels, and basic fundamentals. Age 8+
level 2 Mondays 6:00-6:50 pM
Level 2 Intermediate Skills working on front and back walkovers, and fundamentals of a back handspring. Age 8+
level 3 Mondays 7:00-7:50 pM
Level 3 Advanced Skills must have minimum of back handspring or working back handspring with a light spot. Age 8+

Please note in order to be on our competition teams you must have a uniform and cheer side line as we compete in the Recreational Division. Note we ask cheerleaders to first start in entry level class and then send invites as skills progress onto our competition teams.

TRYOUT PREPERATION CLASSES
Clinics designed to help you sharpen your skills, boost your confidence, and maximize your potential for upcoming tryouts! Whether you're a seasoned cheerleader or just starting out, our experienced coaches will provide personalized instruction. Don't miss out on this opportunity to showcase your talent and make your mark at tryouts!
Clinics cap at 20 participants per session and all sales are final. Cost is $50 per clinic sign up for one or both.
